Sarah Woldmoe, originally from Fort Wayne, IN, joined the Red Stars in 2020 through a trade with Sky Blue FC. In her first season with the Red Stars Woldmoe has appeared in 17 matches, starting in 15, and was named NWSL Player of the Week for her performance against Kansas City where she scored two goals. Woldmoe’s international experience is primarily with the United States’ U-23 and U-20 teams. Woldmoe was part of the U-20 team that won the U-20 Women’s World Cup, along with teammates Kealia Watt, Vanessa DiBernardo, Julie Ertz and Morgan Gautrat. At the University of California Los Angeles Woldmoe was named PAC-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, NSCAA 3rd-team All-American, selected to Top Drawer Soccer’s Best XI first team and First-team NSCAA All-Pacific Region and All-PAC-12 honoree for the three-straight years.
