COVID PROTOCOL

SeatGeek Stadium and the Chicago Red Stars have developed health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of fans, staff, players, and coaches. The following measures have been and will continue to be implemented to ensure that the health and safety of those who work and attend Chicago Red Stars events at SeatGeek Stadium is prioritized at all times.

 

DISINFECTION CLEANING
Prior to every event, trained staff will follow CDC and local guidelines on the cleaning and disinfecting of all areas including touch points (handrails, seats, restrooms, etc.).

 

WEAR A FACE COVERING
Everyone that enters SeatGeek Stadium will be required to wear a cloth face mask or covering at all times except when actively eating or drinking. Patrons unwilling to comply will be asked to leave the venue.

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING
Markers and staff will be placed throughout the stadium to enforce physical distancing wherever possible. These markers will be placed at entry check points, security check points, restrooms, merchandise and concession stands, and any other location where fans may need to assemble.

 

HAND SANITIZER
Throughout SeatGeek Stadium, there will be non-contact hand sanitizer dispensers. Although nothing replaces washing our hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, these hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed for the convenience of all who attend events at SeatGeek Stadium.

 

CONCESSIONS
Spectra, the food and beverage operator for SeatGeek Stadium, has implemented several initiatives for safe operations of concessions and other food and beverage locations. These precautions meet the current food service & handling guidelines and include no self-serve distribution of food, condiments or beverages and all items sold will be delivered in an enclosed container or wrapped. All cups will be served with lids and all condiments will be packaged.

 

In addition, SeatGeek Stadium utilizes plexiglass barriers at all points of sale. While SeatGeek Stadium is accepting credit cards, debit cards, and cash, it is highly encouraged that patrons pay with credit or debit cards to minimize physical interaction between patrons and employees.

 

MERCHANDISE

Soccer 2000, the merchandise vendor for the Chicago Red Stars will implement contactless shopping that mirrors a curbside experience. Fans will have the ability to place an order for contactless pickup using the Chicago Red Stars new mobile app.

 

TICKETING

It is strongly encouraged that all fans use mobile tickets when entering SeatGeek Stadium. Mobile tickets can be accessed through the Chicago Red Stars new mobile app or through the SeatGeek app. If you do not have access to a Smartphone, you may use a print at home PDF ticket. All fans must hold up their ticket to be scanned. Staff members or security personnel will not touch a print at home PDF ticket or Smartphone at any time. All ticket scanning staff will wear gloves.

 

STADIUM CAPACITY

The maximum stadium capacity will be determined by state guidelines and subject to change based on the most current rules and regulations. Additional entry points, restrooms, and concessions stands will be available to accommodate appropriate social distancing throughout the building.

 

SEATING

The seating map will be arranged in socially distanced pods based on current guidelines. Seating throughout the stadium will begin five rows back from the field in all sections and tickets will only be available in every alternate row with a minimum of four seats between seating pods. Fans are required to remain within their socially distanced pod of seats unless using the restroom or purchasing merchandise, food, or beverages. Field side seating is suspended until further notice (to be evaluated month-by-month) and there will be no General Admission seating.

 

PARKING

Parking passes will be available for pre-purchase online and through the SeatGeek mobile app. Access to the parking lot will be via mobile ticket on the purchaser's mobile phone or by the print at home PDF. Cars will be parked in alternate spaces to allow for social distancing.

 

TAILGATING

Tailgating in the parking lots will be subject to current state guidelines and is to be evaluated month by month. Cars will be parked in alternate spaces to allow for social distancing.

 

BAG POLICY

No carry-in items, including seat backs, clear bags, or purses will be permitted. A small clutch purse/bag for personal belongings is allowed, but it must not exceed 4.5'' x 6.5'' in size. Special considerations will be made for guests with special medical needs and parents caring for infants.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW

  • All employees and vendors at SeatGeek Stadium will follow strict protocols including temperature checks, proper wearing and use of PPE including face coverings, and training on proper hygiene.

  • Do not attend events if you currently or in the last 14 days have been sick, experiencing a fever or other symptoms, reside with anyone who has these symptoms, or have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19.

  • Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kick-off. This will be monitored month by month and may be extended based on capacity.

  • All who enter SeatGeek Stadium will go through standard security screenings including wanding.

  • To alleviate crowding in the restrooms, staff will control access to stay within 50% of the capacity.

  • Failure to comply with the requirements of the protocols in place may result in the individual being removed from the venue and denied access in the future.

  • Protocols may be adjusted in accordance with guidelines from government and public health officials and the NWSL.
